Canterra Suites Hotel

We had an extended stay in Canada and jumped into a few hotels. We ended our stay in the last few weeks at Canterra Suites and cannot recommend this place enough. It’s a home away from home and has all the amenities for you to be comfortable. It’s beautifully furnished and full of airy light. It’s close to shops being in downtown Edmonton. Finally the staff here are so friendly and go out of their way to make your stay special. Thank you for the amazing stay for our family! Cannot recommend enough!!!!

Great place to stay in downtown Edmonton. Central, with its own plaza area with good places to eat. Rooms are all suite style and very reasonably priced for the great accommodations. I consider the Canterra kinda a secret gem of a place to stay in the city if you're OK with being downtown or need to be downtown for an event.

Canterra is such a great place to stay. Great location right beside a save on foods and Starbucks. The room is spacious and clean. Beds are super comfortable. There is a tv in each room. Underground parking available for $20 a day and is well worth it. Not far from west Edmonton mall roughly 20-25 mins. Definitley book here. Great staff and can’t say a bad thing about this place. Will book in the future for sure. I did also forget something at the hotel and they shipped it to my house for me. I never write reviews but here I am writing one because people need to stay here. I had my two kids with me and we all loved it and felt right at home. 5 stars across the board!!!! Thank you canterra staff you are amazing

This is the 1 bedroom plus office suite. It was clean and comfortable. Alot larger than I thought it would be. No AC in the room but there was a pedestal fan in the office that we used to keep cool. Office staff was welcoming and very kind. Will be back.

We are a family of five, and recently my oldest daughter had to undergo surgery at the Stollery in Edmonton. We chose Canterra because of its location and the size of the rooms, and it turned out to be a great decision. Upon arrival, the staff were very friendly and check-in was quick and easy. They offer underground parking, which was convenient—although the layout is a bit unusual, it’s manageable as long as your vehicle meets the height requirements. We booked a two-bedroom king suite, and the room was extremely clean and well maintained. It came with a full-size fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, plus pots, pans, cutlery—everything you’d need. There was even a washer and dryer! As a large family, having that much space made a huge difference. And to top it off, the price was excellent. We would have paid the same at a regular hotel for a quarter of the space and none of the amenities. I would highly recommend this hotel for larger families, and we will definitely be staying again.!

Ended up having to stay in Edmonton for few weeks due to family being in hospital - this hotel is an easy drive to and from UofA ~ with very comfortable room , full Kitchen ~ and the most amazing compassionate staff . Had a couple things during my stay and the staff were ON IT and things were made right always .

Its an old apartment building, so each room was an apartment. So nice big spacious. Washer n dryer in every room. Only negatives is pillows suck. 1 large one lumpy and firm, 1 small one too soft, too small. And can be noisy at night as you are on a main busy street.

Will stay again! Large beautiful rooms with multiple separate bedrooms(great for big families)for those of you that dont want to share beds with your friends or family. Super quiet and pet friendly with a fee. Provided kitchens and living room areas so you dont have to eat out the whole trip. Next to good restaurants and fast food places, and grocery stores.
